Calendar Update

Everyone may wear a Costume

This week we began discussing first, middle and last positions with sounds and pictures. I hope you have been hearing the sounds of the letters we are learning, as well as some of the songs.

We are also continuing to learn about the season of Fall. Please help your child look for signs of fall, such as leaves changing colors and cooler weather; of course this is always a challenge in Southern California.
​
We have put our own personal touches throughout the classroom. If you have time when you pick up your child please stop by and see all our lovely art work on Monday, October 3.
​
I would like to thank the Canalez family for Play-Doh and the craft supplies; also thank you to the Presicci family for the craft pumpkins. I’m sure we will put all of these goodies to use.
​
We join the entire school in the Halloween Parade on Oct. 31. It begins right after Morning Prayer and announcements. You are invited to come and watch your student(s) parade around the school in their costumes.
Lastly, please remember to have your child bring their “share” item in a bag.
