All are very excited about the Christmas season; we keep hearing about “Elves on Shelves” and visits to Santa.

I hope everyone will be able to attend our Christmas Program.  We have been diligently learning all of the words to our songs. The students need to be in our classroom by 6:30 pm on Tuesday, December 20th.  (The church gets very crowded, so try to get your seats early). Everyone should be wearing dressy Christmas clothes.  After performing, the students will return directly to their classrooms, where you will sign your child out after the program.

Please remember that on this day, we are in our church and are teaching the students proper church etiquette.  We ask that everyone in the audience remains in their seats.  This includes before the performance, when we are being seated, as well as during the performance.  A video of the program will be available in January, 2017.

We have been learning all about the First Christmas. Your child should be able to tell you the story. We have learned that Christmas is about Jesus’ birthday. Of course, we do know about St. Nicholas, as well as how he would give presents to the children in his village.  We also have been very busy elves making decorations.  I hope you are enjoying them.

It is a state law that students’ parents stay with their child until the teacher brings them into the classroom. It has come to my attention that some parents are not staying with their child while they are in line; please stay with your child until I bring them into the classroom.

Enjoy the blessings of this season,

Mrs. Rametta
