Merry Christmas!
It’s almost here! We are trying our very best to learn our song and finger play. I hope you are hearing them at home.
The students should be in the classroom on Tuesday, Dec. 20th at 6:30 wearing their Christmas best. If anyone will not be able to attend the program, please let me know in advance.
We have been learning all about the First Christmas. Your child should be able to tell you the story. We have learned that Christmas is about Jesus’ birthday; of course we do know about St. Nicholas, and how he would give presents to the children in his village.
This week we read and discussed the story of Juan Diego and Our Lady of Guadalupe. We also were very busy elves making decorations. I hope you are enjoying them.
Everyone should bring their backpacks on Wednesday, Dec. 21.
We have so many fun decorations to bring home, and lots or things to carry.
I would like to thank everyone for such a wonderful beginning of the year. You have been so supportive and generous; I know the rest of the year will be just as good.

We currently have many Christmas Creations decorating our classroom and hallway. When you have time, either when picking up your child after school or after the Christmas program, please stop by to see them! Your student would love to show you all of their hard work.
