Calendar Update
Friday, Oct.7 - Regular Day for Pre-K
Monday, Oct. 10- No School: Columbus Day
Wednesday, Oct 19- Picture Day: Uniform dress
Bears Bears Bears! We learned many amazing facts about Bears this week. Please ask your child about hibernation, and if they can tell you anything about bears. We also had a “Teddy Bear” Picnic.

We continue to have fun getting to know one another, and we are working hard learning all of the rules. Being kind to everyone is the biggest rule.
​
Next week we will begin our unit on the Fall season. Please help your child look for signs of fall, such as leaves changing colors and cooler weather; of course this is always a challenge in Southern California. You will soon be hearing about color monsters as well.
​
Everyone is enjoying “share”; please remember each child is assigned one day a week to share for the rest of the school year. Please make sure you put your child’s share in a bag, and they may bring only one item at a time.
​
If any of you are crafty people or know any crafty people, Pre-K would really enjoy any buttons, sequins (etc.); our closet is becoming very bare.
​
Thank you so much to the Mejia (Audrianna) family and the Berman (Cameron) family for donating Play-Doh to our classroom! We are very excited, as we were very much in need of this for our class.
​
Thank you for your help, I know this is going to be a wonderful year.
