Calendar Update
Friday, April 7 - Regular day for Pre-K Crazy Hair and Hat day
Auction purchase non- uniform day
Thurs., April 13 - Holy Thursday: Both classes meet from 7:55- 11:00.
No Daycare available
April 14-23 - No School: Good Friday and Easter Vacation
Mon., April 24 - Classes Resume
We are continuing to earn Easter grass for our Lenten baskets. I hope you are seeing many loving and helpful deeds; setting the table, making their beds, etc.
We had a very fun Day of the Reader; there were lots of characters in our classroom! The fourth graders joined us for a reading session which we thoroughly enjoyed.
Farms and farm animals have been our focus this week, we are discussing where our food comes from and how it gets to the grocery store.
Next week we will learn about Palm Sunday and continue learning about Holy Week. This can be a little confusing for 4 and 5 year olds, so we emphasize the Resurrection, and Jesus is in Heaven watching over us.
Last week, we talked about community helpers, and made a successful trip to the mailbox. All of the children should have received a special picture by this time. If you have not, please let me know.
We still need empty wrapping paper rolls, so please bring them in.
