November 23-27 - No School: Thanksgiving Vacation
Monday, Nov. 28 - School Resumes
This month we have been learning all about the First Thanksgiving. Please ask your child about the Pilgrims and Native Americans, as well as why we celebrate Thanksgiving. We know a new morning prayer and we have been working hard learning the Pledge of Allegiance. We are also continuing to learn the alphabet by sight and sounds; you may have heard the poems.
Our classroom is ready for Thanksgiving; we have been working hard making decorations. I hope you are enjoying the decorations we have sent home.
I look forward to seeing everyone on Friday for our conferences.
Next week is a very short week, and we will be preparing for our Thanksgiving Feast. We will also be reviewing the alphabet, shapes, and patterns.
Have a blessed Thanksgiving holiday. When we return on November 28th, we will be jumping right into Advent.
