I hope everyone enjoyed the Halloween parade. We would like to thank our room coordinators and the families who helped us have an exciting and fun filled celebration. We have many pictures from this fun day, as well as from all of October. You can find these on our class website, http://beirn101.wixsite.com/prekindergarten, under “Class Pictures.”

If anyone has spare costumes or dress up clothes they would like to donate to our dress up collection, we would really appreciate it! Please remember that the dress up has to go over the children’s uniforms, so a size larger than what is usually purchased would be better.

We have been learning about saints. We know that they were people who actually lived on Earth and wanted to be like Jesus. St. Joachim and St. Anne, we know, are Blessed Mary’s parents and Jesus’ grandparents.

This week we began learning about the five senses God gave us to enjoy His world. We will be using all of our five senses as we learn about the First Thanksgiving.  We will also be very busy learning about Native Americans and Pilgrims.

As you can see, November is a very busy month.  Please remember to sign up for a conference time. The sign-up sheet for Pre-K conferences is on the white board under the sigh-in sheet. Again, Pre-K does all of their conferences on November 18th, so the form given to the older students last week does not apply to us.

Lately I’ve noticed that we have become a little relaxed on our uniforms. The girls must wear modesty shorts every day, socks should always cover the ankles, and blouses that are uniform-regulated. It is important to wear the proper uniform.

Thank you for your continued support,

Mrs. Rametta
